There are a bunch of ways you can listen to KEWL.fm, whether you are at home, work, or on the go. New devices are being introduced
nearly daily, and we’re working hard to ensure you can receive us on all of them! So how many ways can you listen to

Apple CarPlay

Ensure your iPhone is running on iOS 7.1 or higher and your car is compatible with Apple CarPlay.

Connect your iPhone to your car using a lightning cable, or via wireless per your manufacturer’s instructions.

On your car’s infotainment system, select the option for Apple CarPlay.

Once connected, you should see the Apple CarPlay home screen on your car’s display.

To use the Live365 app, open the app on your iPhone, then in the Live365 app, search for KEWL.fm

Select KEWL.fm from the search results and listen to the best internet station available.

Android Auto

Ensure your phone is running on Android 6.0 or higher and your car is compatible with Android Auto.

Download the Android Auto app from the Google Play Store on your phone.  Connect your phone to your car using a USB cable.

Open the Android Auto app on your phone and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Once connected, you should see the Android Auto home screen on your car’s display.

To use Android Auto, you must give the app permission to access your phone’s apps and features. You can do this by going to your phone’s “Settings” menu and selecting “Apps.”

From there, find the Android Auto app and select “Permissions.” Allow the app to access your phone’s apps and features, such as contacts, messaging, and location.

You are now ready to use Android Auto. To access it, turn on your car’s infotainment system and select the Android Auto option.

Open the Live365 app on your phone and search for KEWL.fm.

Select KEWL.fm from the search results and listen to the the best internet station available.

Bluetooth

Make sure that your car’s Bluetooth is turned on. You can usually find this setting in your car’s infotainment system or by consulting your car’s manual.

Go to the “Settings” menu on your phone and select “Bluetooth.” Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and make sure it is set to “discoverable.”

In your car’s infotainment system, select the option to “search for new devices” or “pair a new device.”

Your phone should appear in the list of available devices. Select your phone and enter the pairing code if prompted.

Once connected, you should be able to make hands-free calls and play music from your phone through your car’s speakers.

Audio Cable

Purchase an audio cable that is compatible with your phone and car. Standard options include 3.5mm aux cables and USB-to-aux cables.

Plug one end of the audio cable into your phone’s headphone jack or USB/Lightning port with an adapter. Locate the audio input on your car’s stereo system. This is typically a 3.5mm aux input or a USB port.

Plug the other end of the audio cable into the audio input on your car’s stereo system.

On your car’s stereo system, select the option to play music from the audio input you have plugged the cable into.

Open the Live365 app on your phone, and now music should be playing through your car’s speakers. 

Alexa

Make sure your Alexa-enabled device is connected to your home wifi network and open the Alexa app on your phone or tablet and sign in to your Amazon account.

Go to the “Skills & Games” menu in the Alexa app and search for “Live365.”

Select the Live365 skill and tap “Enable” to add it to your Alexa account.

Open the Alexa app on your mobile device and tap on the “More” icon (three horizontal lines) at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Tap on “Routines” from the list of options.

Tap the “+” icon in the top right corner to create a new routine and name it and hit next.

Under “When this happens,” choose “Voice” and enter the phrase “Play KEWL dot fm,” then press next.

Under “Add action,” tap on “Custom.”

Enter the command “launch live365 and play K E W L” Note the spaces between the letters.

Tap “Save” in the top right corner to save the routine.

Note 1: When you say the command, you can expect a few seconds of silence before the app starts.

Note 2: You can also add additional programming to play on different devices, such as adding the playback is with Sonos.

Google Home

Open the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet.

Tap on the menu button in the top left corner of the screen.

Tap on “Music” to open the music settings.

Under “Services,” tap on “Live365” or “KEWL.fm” to link your account.

Sign in to your Live365 or KEWL.fm account and authorize the connection.

Sonos

 

Open the Sonos app on your smartphone or tablet, then add the TuneIn Radio app to Sonos.

From the Browse tab, select TuneIn Radio.

Tap My Radio Stations.

Tap the three dots in the top right and tap Add New Radio Station.

Enter the Streaming URL: https://ais-edge102-live365-dal02.cdnstream.com/a67670.  Then enter the station name: KEWL.fm.

The station will be listed and available in the My Radio Stations section under TuneIn.

Live365 App

Download the Live365 app from the Apple or Google stores.

Open the Live365 app and search for “KEWL.fm.”

Ignore all the other stations. :-)
